The policies governing this site and our products. Last updated August 2026.

Privacy policy

Blueural Network LLP operates this website. This policy covers information handled through the site and our commercial relationship with you. It does not describe the data your Blueural appliance processes, because that data stays on your own network and we have no access to it.

What we collect

  • Details you submit through the contact form: name, email, organization, number of sites, enquiry type and message
  • An email address if you subscribe to be notified about published writing
  • Correspondence you send us, so we can pick up a conversation where it left off

How we use it

  • To reply to your enquiry and continue the conversation
  • To send notifications you explicitly asked for, which you can stop at any time
  • To understand which problems come up repeatedly, so we can prioritise them

What we do not do

We do not sell, rent or trade your information. We do not add you to a mailing list because you contacted us about something else. We do not use your details for advertising or profiling.

Retention and your rights

We keep enquiry records only as long as they are useful to the conversation or required for our records. You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted — use the contact form and we will action it.

Terms of use

By using this website you accept these terms. Product supply is governed by a separate written agreement, which takes precedence over anything on this site.

Licence

Blueural software is licensed, not sold. A subscription grants the right to use the software and receive updates for its duration, on the appliances covered by your agreement.

No guarantee of complete protection

No security product prevents every breach, and we do not claim otherwise. Blueural is designed to shorten the time between compromise and detection. To the extent permitted by law, Blueural Network LLP is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from an incident our systems did not detect.

Lawful use

Network monitoring is regulated differently across jurisdictions. You are responsible for deploying Blueural lawfully on networks you control, including informing staff where that is required. We recommend taking local legal advice.

Intellectual property

Software, trained models, documentation and site content are the property of Blueural Network LLP, except for third-party open-source components which remain under their own licences. Reverse engineering or redistributing our proprietary components is not permitted.

Cookie notice

This site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies, and does not embed third-party trackers.

If we later add privacy-respecting analytics to understand which pages are useful, this notice will be updated to say what is collected before it goes live.

Responsible disclosure policy

If you find a vulnerability in our products or this site, we want to hear about it. We will not pursue action against researchers who follow this policy in good faith.

  • Report it through the contact form, selecting the security enquiry type
  • Include enough detail for us to reproduce the issue
  • Allow us two business days to acknowledge, and reasonable time to ship a fix
  • Do not access, modify or delete data belonging to others while testing
  • Do not run denial-of-service testing against our infrastructure

We will keep you informed while we work on a fix and credit you publicly if you would like that.
